Constructed in DC's Build Floor A from period-correct mahogany. Distressed by the on-set scenic team to match the script's 1890s setting.

The Inheritance (series, S2 finale)
Returned to catalog with surface scratches from a fight scene. Restored: leather inlay replaced, brass hardware re-blackened, drawer rails greased.

Hollowtown PD (series, S1 ep 7)
Background piece in the captain's office. Two coffee rings on the surface stayed in the show — they're now part of the piece's character.

One of the most-shot pieces in the catalog. Period-correct construction with modern reinforcement so the drawers actually open on take 14. The leather writing surface has the patina of a piece that's been working for seven years — not the stickered "antique" feel of a hardware-store fake.
Three working drawers, two letter compartments, hinged ink-well cover that opens to reveal a hidden modern USB pass-through (left over from a 2022 anachronistic short — easily covered with the included period blotter).
Sustainability note
Built once in 2018 from FSC-certified mahogany. Restored 2022 (no new lumber). Reused across 3 productions to date. CO₂e avoided vs. new build per use: ~140kg.
